My name is Sue. I established VitalSelf Health & Wellness due to my passion for health and fitness, and for the outdoors and sport - it's an extension of my lifestyle. Whilst working in the business world, I recall looking out the window at lunchtime, waiting for the chance to escape the indoors for the greater outdoors where I could revitalise myself ! I believe my love for fitness and the outdoors has enabled me to live quite a stress free life. VitalSelf is focussed on motivating you to achieve your fitness and lifestyle goals. We strive to provide the highest quality service in a safe, controlled & enjoyable environment. I like to get to know my clients - their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, and generally what makes them tick. I believe knowing these things better enables me to develop a fitness programme for the individual, and also enables me to judge their mental wellbeing on particular occasions.

Welcome to VitalSelf Health & Wellness. We look forward to helping you achieve your health and fitness goals, whether you have a basic level of fitness, are a mum-to-be or you have a new born baby or toddler. We can also assist you if you think an improved lifestyle seems too hard!
Body & Baby is a fitness programme designed specifically for mums-to-be or for new mums. It is important for the mum-to-be to keep fit during pregnancy and research shows the baby also benefits whilst in the womb. After working with many pre natal ladies, I realised there was not a programme to help them regain fitness after having their baby. Getting your body back is an important focus for new mums, and our programme will focus on regaining your core strength as well as toning your muscles and also regaining your cardiovascular fitness. You can bring your bubs with you and they are cared for by the nannies in Centennial Park.
VitalSelf caters for all fitness levels, including diabetes and multiple sclerosis. We ensure you have structure & variety in your training so you continue to perform at your best.
We will challenge all your major muscle groups to improve your strength and cardiovascular capacity in a balanced workout, and will closely monitor your technique to eliminate injury and to achieve the desired results. With the resultant increase in lean muscle mass, your metabolism will naturally increase, burning increased calories and burning fat.

We can assist you to break down the barriers and work with you to create new and sustainable goals for the future. It is vital to have a healthy eating and nutrition plan. With a Certificate in Nutrition, we can assist you in achieving a balanced diet of protein, carbohydrates and the 'good' fats in order for our bodies to function properly. We also need only a certain amount of food to keep our weight under control. VitalSelf will assist in your nutrition requirements to complement your training regime, resulting in your continued weight loss, fitness and health, and reaching your goals.
